Terms of Service

1. Introduction and Parties

These Terms of Service („Terms”) govern the use of the website at https://qaiyo-plugins.com and all Qaiyo WordPress plugins operated by Adam Papp (sole trader / egyeni vallalkozo), registered address: Pesti ut 11., 3200 Gyongyos, Hungary („Provider”).

By using the website or purchasing a plugin („User”), you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before downloading or purchasing any plugin.

2. Products and Licensing

2.1 Free plugins

Qaiyo free plugins are distributed via the WordPress.org repository under the terms of the GNU General Public License v2 (GPL-2.0+). Use of free plugins is also subject to the WordPress.org Terms of Service.

2.2 Pro plugins

When purchasing a Pro plugin, you may choose from the following licence types (as listed on the individual plugin page):

  • Single site licence – may be used on 1 WordPress installation.
  • Developer / Unlimited licence – may be used on an unlimited number of your own and client WordPress installations.

Licences are non-transferable and may not be resold or sub-licensed. You may not distribute Pro plugins to third parties, use extracted components in other products, or place them on plugin marketplaces or repositories.

2.3 Licence activation and verification

Pro plugins require a licence key to function. Upon activation and at regular intervals, the plugin transmits the licence key, a hashed version of your WordPress site URL, and the plugin identifier to the qaiyo-plugins.com licence server. See Section 3.3 of the Privacy Policy for full details.

3. Purchase, Payment and Refunds

3.1 Purchase process

Pro plugins are sold through the WooCommerce-powered shop at qaiyo-plugins.com. Payments are processed via Stripe. We do not store your card or banking details – these are handled exclusively by Stripe on PCI DSS-certified infrastructure.

3.2 Pricing

All prices displayed are inclusive of applicable VAT unless otherwise stated. The Provider reserves the right to change prices at any time; the price applicable at the time of purchase governs completed transactions.

3.3 30-day money-back guarantee

If a Pro plugin does not meet your expectations, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. Refund requests should be submitted to info@qaiyo-plugins.com. Upon refund, the associated licence key will be deactivated.

The guarantee applies to first-time purchases only (not renewals or repeat purchases of the same plugin) and is intended for cases where the issue could not be resolved with the assistance of our support team.

3.4 Renewals

Annual licences do not renew automatically unless you have explicitly opted in to auto-renewal. You will receive an email notification as your licence approaches its expiry date.

4. Updates and Technical Support

Users with a valid Pro licence are entitled to:

  • Automatic plugin updates for the duration of the licence.
  • Email-based technical support at info@qaiyo-plugins.com; response time: 1-3 business days.

Support for free plugins is provided through the WordPress.org support forum on a best-effort basis, without any guaranteed response time.

5. Intellectual Property

The source code, documentation, graphics, and all other materials associated with Qaiyo plugins are protected by intellectual property rights belonging to the Provider. A Pro licence grants the User the right to use the plugin as described in these Terms; it does not transfer ownership of the source code or any other intellectual property.

The „Qaiyo” brand name and logo are the property of the Provider. They may not be used by third parties without prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Qaiyo plugins are provided „as is” without warranty of any kind. The Provider does not warrant that:

  • the plugin will be compatible with every WordPress environment, theme, or third-party plugin;
  • the plugin will operate without interruption or error;
  • the plugin will meet your specific business requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider’s total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the use of a plugin shall not exceed the amount paid by the User for the plugin in question. The Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to data loss or lost revenue.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection law.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use Qaiyo plugins:

  • on websites or services that facilitate or promote illegal activities;
  • on services that distribute spam, phishing content, or malware;
  • in a manner that infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties;
  • for resale or distribution to third parties (except as permitted under a Developer licence for use on client sites).

The Provider reserves the right to terminate a licence immediately and without refund in the event of a breach of these Terms.

8. Changes to these Terms

The Provider may update these Terms from time to time. Registered customers will be notified of material changes by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The current version of these Terms is always available at https://qaiyo-plugins.com/terms-of-service.

9. Termination

Users may discontinue use of the service at any time. Annual Pro licences expire automatically at the end of the licence period if not renewed.

The Provider may terminate a licence with immediate effect if the User breaches these Terms, in particular the provisions relating to intellectual property and prohibited resale.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be referred to amicable negotiation. If the matter cannot be resolved through negotiation, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Hungarian court at the Provider’s registered address.

Consumer disputes may also be referred to the relevant Hungarian conciliation body (bekelteto testulet). For more information, see https://bekeltetes.hu. EU-based consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/odr.
